The food here has always been so delicious and high quality. I have eaten here various times and every time the service has been impeccable. The staff are very kind, attentive and welcoming. They go the extra mile. And again, the food is SO GOOD. My recommendations are the nihari, chicken karahi, and garlic chicken curry. I also love the keema naan. Today, as I was short for time, I asked after I made my order on deliveroo if there was any way for them to deliver it 10 minutes earlier than the ETA on the app. They said no problem at all and did just that. And the food was perfect! Thank you Spice Spree for your amazing service and food

This is an amazing place with delicious food, warm-hearted staff and a good value. Please don’t go there if you want to eat quickly and in a hurry; the cooking takes some time, but I can assure you, it’s worth waiting for. The mango chicken was finger-licking good and the cheese naan bread was the kind you can’t stop eating once you’ve started. The other dishes we ordered were equally amazing. We will definitely come back!

It was our first visit to Spice Spree and we chose it based on other positive reviews we read online beforehand. Very pleased to say these were accurate and actually, I think we felt perhaps not glowing enough! The restaurant itself is clean and has a spacious and attractive feel to it, and the service was very welcoming and attentive. The food came quickly and was piping hot - and delicious! Great value too - we will definitely visit again

I recently dined at this incredible Indian restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the service. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. We sampled a variety of dishes, and each one was exceptional. The garlic naan and tandoori roti were perfectly baked — soft, warm, and flavorful. The naga chicken brought a bold, spicy kick that was perfectly balanced, while the chettinad chicken delivered rich, aromatic Southern flavors. The lamb chops were tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection, and the tandoori chicken had a beautiful smoky char with just the right blend of spices. For the vegetarians at the table, the paneer butter masala was creamy and comforting, and the chole bhature was a delightful combination of crispy, fluffy bread and hearty, spiced chickpeas. Every dish was packed with flavor, and the presentation was equally impressive. It’s clear the chefs take great pride in their work. Paired with the top-notch service, this was one of the best Indian dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic, delicious Indian cuisine!

Wow, tried this restaurant seeking out good Indian restaurants. A hidden gem. The service was polite and attentive. The food was full of flavour and well presented. Looking forward to going back in the near future. Highly recommended if in Canterbury looking for a good quality, tasty meal.

Had a lovely meal here on Sunday night with my husband after singing evensong at Canterbury Cathedral for the United Nations Peace service. I had Gobi Gosht lamb and the meat was so tender and it was very flavoursome. My husband had Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi and he said it was one of three best he has had. The French house red wine was very palatable too and very reasonably priced. The lady who served us was very welcoming and efficient too, she’d only been there 6 months and was delighted when I said I’d do a review. We will definitely be back if we’re staying in Canterbury again. Just a little bit outside of the main tourist area it was a perfect location for our AirBnB in Albion Place!
